Very nearly 7 months ago in fact. We’re still here though, and have a slightly bigger package than normal this time round. We feel that this added value to the finalisation of this release, and hope to do the same RC testing next time round.

Does the number of matches you play accumulates the amount of credits and xp you earn? Or are rewards capped at each score tier a week? What is that countdown timer on the bottom of the score screen and why don’t it seem to be working? Tbh if the rewards are supposed to be capped I don’t like it. Without immediate rewards in credits and xp each match, even if only a little bit, it makes each match after the first feel like wasted time and effort if you don’t reach the next high score and maybe soon no one will be playing this mode.
So I’ve got some theories on this, I noticed the wave team exp and total team exp always match every round, meaning either the wave exp just shows total, Or, the wave exp isn’t rolling over so total exp is only giving you that single waves worth. If it’s the second one and we just aren’t getting nearly as much exp as we’re supposed to, then it’s likely the rewards are for high scores. However if it’s the first one and we are getting the appropriate amount of exp, then the rewards should be given based on your total exp gained from every match through the week with a reset every 7 days.
Unfortunately the timer doesn’t seem to be working nor is it rolling over your exp from each match and only registering your top score.

Ge3ks writes EA Access members have enjoyed their 10 hours of action. (i know I sure did) Going to start my trial ‘t wait after how good the beta was and how good reviews are.
Here are my thoughts: Graphics – it looks great as long as you don’t look too carefully which you shouldn’t considering that it’s an FPS , especially considering it’s 60fps. I think the only section where it was let down a little was in the factory. Sound – great, all the weapons in particular sounded weighty and ‘right’ Story – nothing to write home about but that was expected, for context I haven’t played Titanfall 1 so not sure if that would have fleshed things out a bit but the enemies motives were never really clear to me.
I liked BT and all the banter but I wouldn’t say I really cared about him, even when the plot really wanted me to Gameplay – loads of fun, I probably underutilised the wallrunning in combat but I felt like they introduced new twists on things often enough to keep things interesting through the campaign. There were a couple of standout levels for me, the one with the radar dish was pretty cool and the time travel one that reminded me a lot of A Crack in the Slab in Dishonored 2.
It’s a shame the sniper one wasn’t available earlier as that would have seen some use from me. All in all, it was an enjoyable romp that thankfully didn’t overstay its welcome. Glad I finally played it.
